Setup the email on your mail-client
There are many mail-clients out there, we will use outlook for this tutorial.
Open outlook, press FILE>Account Settings>Press New>Advanced and click “Let me setup the email account manually”
Put your server’s hostname, ports for incoming and outgoing, the protocol we recommend going is IMAP, the way IMAP works is, IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) gives you live access to all your email messages.
Designed as an improvement over POP3, IMAP is the way to go if you access email from more than one device. With IMAP, your messages stay on the server until you delete them in your email client.
The settings for IMAP:
Username: Use the email account such in example, [email protected]
Password: Use the email account’s password.
Incoming Server: Your server’s hostname or mail.yourdomain.com
IMAP Port: 993 Select SSL/TLS connection
Outgoing Server: Your server’s hostname or mail.yourdomain.com
SMTP Port: 465 Select SSL/TLS connection
Make sure to enable “My outgoing mail server (SMTP) requires Authentication’ option in the Email client
